A hajszálon elhajló lézerfény intenzitáseloszlása hasonló a rés elhajlásképéhez. Megfigyelhetjük, hogy középen – a hajszál árnyékának helyén – világos csík, maximális intenzitás található.

Diffraction by a hair

The intensity distribution of the laser light diffracted by a hair is similar to the diffraction pattern of a slit. It can be observed that in the middle – in place of the shadow of the hair – a bright strip, the maximal intensity, is found.
