A hullámtérbe helyezzünk egy homorú lemezt. Vizsgáljuk meg hogyan verődnek vissza erről az egyeneshullámok. A parabolaívről, amelyet a terjedési irányra merőlegesen helyeztünk el, a hullámok visszaverődve kirajzolják a tükör fókuszát.
Reflection of waves II.
Let us place in the wave field a concave plate and examine how the straight waves are reflected from it. The parabolic arc which is placed perpendicular to the direction of propagation will reflect the waves and show the focal point of the mirror.
